        I agree the APIs are not great; registrars they seem to prefer giving resellers hosted environments that do not help us. One weak option would to point to the top 5 registrars in a web view (similar to visiting a site). But I'm still researching.

        This would be great! But I think unpossible. Since you would have to support different APIs and gateways provided by registrars and sub-registrars (ISPs). I once developed one Frontend to one ISP. Awful work.
